Giovanni Battista Benaschi

Giovanni Battista Benaschi, or Beinaschi, ( Born in Fossano, Italy, 1636 – Died in Naples, Italy, 28 September 1688 ) was an Italian painter and engraver active in the Mannerist style. Born in the Piemonte region of northern Italy, he studied as an artist under Esprit Grandjean. Early on, before 1652, he set out for Rome to continue his education.
