Representational Art

Jan - 25 - 2013

A small description

The word “representational,” when used to describe a work of art, means that the work depicts something easily recognized by most people.

If you can see a street, an automobile buildings and people then it can be called representational even though it also crosses borders with other styles like Figurative, Realist, etc.

Robert Henri, famous American painter and teacher, painted in a representational style but of course could also be considered Figurative.
